Before you update anything
An unresolved earlier job can block another update, agent upgrade or reboot, even if the machine seems healthy. Version 1.0 does not automatically repair these legacy stuck jobs. Save diagnostics and verify the original job against endpoint/native updater records; do not delete receipts or force a retry to bypass the guard.
Use backups, a maintenance window and access to native management tools. Unattended production reliability and zero downtime are not promised.
Confirmed working in our tested homelab
These features have local regression coverage and/or successful homelab use. This is not certification of every configuration.
- Central inventory, agent connectivity and CPU/RAM reporting where the connection provides it.
- Windows and Ubuntu/Debian endpoint health checks, OS update scans and update execution.
- Independent server/game selection; game maintenance runs before OS maintenance when both are selected.
- Per-target results, diagnostic captures and separate ordinary-host/appliance maintenance paths.
Correct permissions, compatible agents and target-specific setup are required. Recovery from interrupted maintenance remains Beta.
Beta — available, still being tested
TrueNAS
API connectivity and health exercised on SCALE. Updates and rollback depend on vendor prerequisites and further testing. CORE is not confirmed supported; SCALE testing does not establish CORE compatibility.
Steam game servers
Selected Windows/Linux SteamCMD setups exercised. Game services, launchers, accounts, backups/restores and fresh vendor-build comparisons need game-specific validation. Unverified does not mean Current.
Recovery & agent tracking
Track original IDs, phases, versions and last signals. Saved upgrade jobs can be redisplayed after controller restart; redisplay is not automatic workflow resumption. Deployment tracking survives page reloads, not controller restarts. Automatic recovery is not guaranteed.
Additional Linux architectures, musl and macOS packages are experimental builds, not native-runtime certification. Clean install/upgrade and full live lifecycle acceptance remain incomplete.

The update manifest is signed with the pinned StrykerLabs release key. That is not Windows Authenticode signing; Windows may display “Unknown Publisher.”
Windows x64 controller installer, Linux x64/ARM64 controller archives, and an optional bundle of endpoint agents. The controller installer already includes agents; you do not need both downloads.
For this launch, install controller updates manually from the Downloads page. The in-app direct-download update feed is not enabled for this distribution.
